What is the analysis of performance drop if we enable dedupe and compression

Good day team,


Please advise what is the analysis of performance drop if we enable dedupe and compression for the below two storage models.


Oceanstor 2200 V3 and Oceanstor5500 V5


I want to know what is the bad effect for enabling dedupe and compression to save some storage space.

Dear Lucas,

Kindly note that if you enable the dedupe and compression feature on storage you will save some storage space but this will require more processing so CPU performance will be affected.
