Route cross indicates that a private network route is copied to other VPN instances.

Route cross can be divided into remote cross and local cross depending on route sources.

Remote cross indicates that the ExtCommunity attribute of each route learnt from VPNv4 matches the corresponding import community of the local VPN. The routes whose ExtCommunity attribute matches the import community of the local VPN are copied to the VPN instance.
Local cross indicates that the routes of a specific VPN instance are copied to other VPN instances according to the matching rules (similar to the rules of remote cross) of ERT and IRT.
