- Scheduled server-based recording backup refers to the function of automatically backing up historical recordings stored on an MPU to another MPU based on the configured time segment, such as 10:00 to 12:00 on every business day.
- Manual server-based recording backup refers to the function of manually backing up a historical recording of live video played in the specified time segment and stored on an MPU to another MPU.
- Scheduled PU-based recording backup refers to the function of automatically backing up historical recordings stored on a camera to another MPU based on the configured time segment, such as 10:00 to 12:00 on every business day.
- Manual PU-based recording backup refers to the function of manually backing up a historical recording of live video played in the specified time segment and stored on a camera to another MPU.
Scheduled backup is independent from manual backup. For example, if a scheduled backup plan has been set for a camera, you can also set a manual backup plan for the camera. However, only one backup task can be executed at a time.
