Hi, all.
Are you still upset that you need to sign in manually for a meeting? You do not need to worry. Huawei IdeaHub implements facial sign-in and automatically sign-in during a conference.
Today, I will introduce the facial sign-in function, including introduction, configuration, and usage.
What is facial sign-in
With face technologies, the IdeaHub identifies an attendee before or during a conference and reports the attendee information to the server for sign-in, implementing auto sign-in.
You can view conference sign-in information on the touchscreen and Touch.
Note:
Facial sign-in is supported only in the CloudVC on-premises network scenario.
When the Huawei IdeaHub detects a facial server, it supports the facial sign-in function. Face sign-in supports the following modes:
Background sign-in
The IdeaHub performs facial sign-in in the background and does not display the sign-in window on the full screen.
Auto sign-in
The system automatically enables the full-screen sign-in once the sign-in starts. Then, the system automatically switches to background sign-in after the conference starts.
Full-screen sign-in
The sign-in window is displayed on the full screen.
How to configure the facial sign-in
Before using the facial sign-in function, you need to configure facial information.
Log in to the Huawei IdeaHub WebUI.
Choose System Settings > General > AI.
In the Facial sign-in area set facial sign-in parameters.

Click Save.
How to use the facial sign-in
When scheduling a conference on the SMC, a user sets the conference to sign in. When the conference sign-in time arrives, Huawei IdeaHub automatically recognizes facial information and signs in. Users can view face sign-in details on the screen of the terminal. After the conference ends, the SMC sends the conference sign-in result to the mailbox by email.
This is what I want to share with you today, thank you!
