The daylight saving time (DST) is a legal time. In the summer, the sun rises early and the daylight time is long. In order to save energy and make full use of the precious time of the day. Many countries in the world advance their time by one hour every summer, and after the end of the summer, they quickly adjust their time back.

DST clock shifts sometimes complicate timekeeping and can disrupt travel, billing, record keeping, medical devices, heavy equipment, and sleep patterns. Computer software often adjusts clocks automatically, but policy changes by various jurisdictions of DST dates and timings may be confusing.

• If the local laws regulate that DST must be used, set the DST based on the regulations specified in the local laws.

• Recordings are stored based on the UTC time. Therefore, enabling the DST does not affect the use of the recording service.

• After the DST is configured, the time zone cannot be changed. Therefore, set the time zone before setting the DST. If you need to change the time zone after setting the DST, disable the DST first.

a) Select the mode for setting the DST.

b) Select Enabled DST.

c) Set the Start time, End time and Offset time of the DST based on the regulations specified in the local laws.
