Hi there!

DRS, that is, (Dynamic Resource Scheduler): Dynamic allocation and balancing of resources and intelligent scheduling
In this way, resources are intelligently scheduled based on the system load to achieve load balancing and ensure good user experience.

On FusionCompute, you can configure the cluster dynamic resource scheduling function. The intelligent load balancing algorithm is used to periodically check the load of hosts in a cluster and migrate VMs among hosts to achieve load balancing among hosts in the cluster.

There are two types of cluster automation levels: Automatic and manual. In automatic scheduling mode, the system automatically migrates VMs to the most appropriate host. In manual mode, the system generates an operation suggestion for the administrator to select. The administrator determines whether to apply the suggestion according to the actual situation.

Resource scheduling can be configured with different measurement factors, which can be scheduled based on the CPU, memory, CPU, or memory. VM performance is affected only when resources are reused. Therefore, if memory resource overcommitment is not used, you are advised to configure scheduling based on the CPU. If memory overcommitment is used, you are advised to configure the scheduling based on the CPU and memory.

Advanced rules for resource scheduling can be used to meet special requirements. For example, if two VMs work in active/standby mode, you can configure mutually exclusive policies for them so that they run on different hosts to improve reliability.

The time-sharing threshold setting of resource scheduling can meet the scheduling requirements of different time segments. VM migration brings system overhead. Therefore, you are advised to set this parameter to a conservative policy when the service load is heavy. If the service load is light, set this parameter to a medium or radical policy to prevent service performance deterioration.

If there are USB devices attached do the rules still take effect?
