Hi team!
Here is a case about the issue that what can I do when UltraPath is invalid after being installed?
I hope it can be helpful when you learn about it.
Symptom
Physical devices and MPIO virtual devices are not shielded after UltraPath is installed. Times of devices are displayed in Disk Management. How to solve this problem?
Solution
UltraPath for Windows is developed based on the Windows MPIO architecture and works as the device driver on application servers.
Check whether the MPIO Bus driver is installed.
Check that Microsoft Multi-Path Bus Driver can be viewed by choosing Device Manager > Storage controllers (see step 9).
If the driver has been installed, check whether it is disabled (followed by a downward arrow). If yes, enable it.
The following provides the procedure of installing the MPIO Bus driver:
1. Open Server Manager. Select Device Manager. Right-click the host name displayed on the top of the device tree. On the short-cut menu that is displayed, choose Add legacy hardware.

2. Click Next.

3. Select the second option and click Next.

4. Scroll down to select Storage controllers and click Next.
5. In Manufacturer, select Microsoft. In Model, select Microsoft Multi-Path Bus Driver. Then click Next.

6. Click Next.

7. Wait for the installation to be completed.

8. Click Finish.

9. Check that Microsoft Multi-Path Bus Driver exists under Storage controllers.
