When I used a short cable to connect the SD OUT port on my endpoint to a monitor, the video output was normal. When I used a long cable to connect the two, however, severe video jitter occurred.
Answer
This is a symptom of signal attenuation.
To address signal attenuation, use either of the following methods:
Use a shorter cable.
To improve signal quality, use an SD video driver, which must be purchase separately.
