What are the typical UltraPath network topologies?

There are two typical UltraPath network topologies: direct connection network and switch connection network. Figure 1 and Figure 2 show the respective illustration.

   HBA = host bus adapter
   NIC = network interface card

In Figure 2:
    The switches can be FC ones or Ethernet ones.
    In an Ethernet switch connection network, if the iSCSI initiator maintains its default parameters, the working controller switchover takes about 2 minutes. If you want to shorten the time, contact Huawei for optimized iSCSI initiator parameter settings.
