What Are the Functions of the IR Options LOCAL and REMOTE on the VPC600?

• If IR is set to LOCAL, the VPC600 forwards IR signals to an endpoint and is controlled by

the endpoint. By default, IR is set to LOCAL.

• If IR is set to REMOTE, the VPC600 is controlled by IR signals and stops forwarding the

signals to the endpoint.
You can switch between the two IR options on the VPC600 PTZ as follows:

1. Press SELECT. Select IR, VIDEO, or FLIP.
2. Press MODE and select the desired mode. The mode switches upon each press.
3. Press SELECT.
