Two LSRs maintain an LDP session by exchanging Keepalive messages. The LSR starts a Keepalive Hold timer to maintain the LDP session. When receiving a Keepalive message of the LDP session, the LSR resets the Keepalive Hold timer. If the Keepalive Hold timer expires, the LSR deletes the LDP session.
