What are the differences and relations between hosts and mappings?

A host is a virtual host created on the ISM, which can be regarded as a logical application server. By configuring the initiator, users can create the connection between the virtual host and the physical application server.

A mapping is the link between the host and the created LUNs, which can be used by the application server to access the storage space provided by the storage device.
