Power-off sequence: Stop all services. -> Shut down the host operating system. -> Turn off the host. -> Turn off the switch. -> Turn off the controller enclosure. -> Turn off the disk enclosure.

Power-on sequence: Turn on the disk enclosure. -> Turn on the controller enclosure. -> Turn on the switch. -> Turn on the host. -> Start up the operating system.

NOTE:
The methods for powering on or off a storage device vary with the device models:

     For the S2600, directly pull out or insert the power cables.
     For the S5000 series, press the Power button on the rear panel of the controller enclosure or disk enclosure.
     For the S5500T/S5600T/S5800T/S6800TS3900/S5900/S6900, press the Power button on either controller.
