The relations between multicast multi-topology and address families are as follows: Multicast multi-topology in IS-IS supports two address families, IPv4 and IPv6. One multicast topology can use only one address family.
Multicast multi-topology is address family-differentiated. You can configure both an IPv4 multicast multi-topology and an IPv6 multicast multi-topology at the same time.
