What are big LUNs and small LUNs in FusionCompute?

Big LUNs and small LUNs are commonly known as Huawei's differences in implementing two block storage systems.

Large LUNs:

1. LUNs are from the shared block storage SAN.

2. Some space of a LUN in a SAN is divided into a block Device, and each device is called a volume.

3. VM instance is composed of one or more volumes.
Small LUNs:

1. LUN From the shared block storage SAN.

2. The entire space of a LUN in a SAN is divided into a block Device, which is called Volume.

Large LUN is to add a LUN to the data storage and create multiple virtual machines on it; 

Small LUN is a LUN added to the data storage for only one LUN at the bottom of a virtual machine, which is taken over by a virtualization platform and used directly as the disk of the virtual machine.

Large LUN facilitates several kinds of management of virtual machines and enables more advanced features

The performance of small LUN is optimized. Disaster tolerance can be designed for specific virtual machine disks.
