Hi,

I cannot find documentation about AC6005/AC6605 emulated features in eNSP.

For example, it appears that STelnet and SFTP protocols are NOT working in AC6005, difficult to say if it's a configuration issue, an eNSP bug or simply an unsupported feature. Tried with WinSCP and Putty on Win PC unsuccessfully.

S5700 switch appears to support well Telnet, Stelnet, FTP and SFTP eNSP emulation instead.

eNSP is a great didactic tool but we should know what features are implemented and what are not for each device (S5700, AC6005, AC6605, etc), otherwise it could be very frustrating trying to understand if it's normal behaviour or eNSP bugged/unsupported feature.

Anyone tried to connect to AC6005 with STelnet and SFTP ?

Thx

I've restored the experiment and the AC device does have these bugs. Thank you for sharing, I will feedback these bugs to the eNSP support team. These problems may be solved in the next version.

It's the latest revision eNSP  v1.3.00.100

I found a list of supposed supported features inside eNSP Help page (click on the question mark on the right of eNSP).

From the page I can see regard WLAN Devices:
-Login through console and Telnet terminals
-File uploading and downloading using FTP (ok) and TFTP (ok)
-SSHv2.0

So SSHv2.0 and Telnet should be supported but I haven't been able to access AC6005 with Telnet ,STelnet or SFTP, probably they are bugged.

I tried the same configuration with S5700 switch and all protocols work like a charm (Telnet, Stelnet, TFTP, FTP, SFTP), it appears a more complete emulation.

I just found another severe bug in AC6005 GUI (the eNSP emulation of course):
- if you try to add and modify a Regulatory Domain Profile the GUI freeze and get stuck.
- if you try to open AP Config/Profile/Wireless Service tab in order to create new wireless profiles, you cannot open the list of profiles.

If this is confirmed you cannot use AC6005 GUI at all, it's impossible to create the most important profiles (tried with Chrome and Firefox).

Thx Wang,
I will use this thread to report other AC6005 emulation bugs (or supposed ones) that I will find hoping that next eNSP release will fix them.
