Hi, team

I met a problem with the newly unpacked usg6000 firewall, the interface is added to the security domain, the non-management port service-manage is fully opened, and the default packet filtering permit is enabled. However, the Web can log in, but Telnet cannot log in. After analyzing the packets, it is found that the usg6000 firewall sends RST packets to disconnect the connection.

#
interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0

alias GE0/MGMT
ip address 192.xxx.x.1 255.255.255.0
dhcp select interface

dhcp server ip-range 192.xxx.x.1 192.xxx.x.254
anti-ddos flow-statistic enable
anti-ddos syn-flood source-detect alert-rate 100
#
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/0

ip address 192.xxx.xxx.231 255.255.255.0
service-manage http permit

service-manage https permit
service-manage ping permit
service-manage ssh permit
service-manage snmp permit
service-manage telnet permit
#

#
firewall zone trust
set priority 85
add interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0
add interface GigabitEthernet1/0/0
#

#
security-policy
default action permit

please help me thanks

Hi@listena

The usg6000 firewall is different from the old firewall products. By default, Telnet login is disabled.

If you want to log in using Telnet, you need to enable it separately.

<sysname> telnet [ipv6] server enable

By default, the Telnet service is turned off.

IPv6 and IPv4 are controlled separately. If the IPv6 keyword is specified, the IPv6 Telnet service is enabled / disabled; if not specified, the IPv4 Telnet service is enabled/disabled.

Hope to help you

you are welcome to ask me any questions!
