VSI Braodcast and Split horizon rule

Hi Team,


i have some question about VSI split horizon rule and "UPE" configuration on VSI , for example we have below topology  and configuration of device  A is as below :-

VSI



    1. if device C2 is sending boradcast  , Deivce A will receive this broadcast on PW1 , will it forward to PW2 and  Customer C1 ?

    2. if device is receiving Broadcast from Device C over PW2 will it forward to PW1 and C1 ?

Hi,
The VSI split horizon doesn't forward the broadcast, unknow unicast and multicast to the NPE, which means, in your situation, the broadcast could be forwarded when you assign 3.3.3.3 as the UPE.
BTW, the command I found is peer static-upe. peer upe is used in the BGP protocol.

Thanks and will it forward to interface 0/0/1 at the same time , and what about reverse direction from C to A ?

Yes, it's same on the reverse direction.
