VRRP Master/Backup Switchover

Hello, everyone.

As shown in the networking diagram, two S6700 switches set up a stack and set up an Eth-Trunk. VRRP is enabled in the VLAN to which the Eth-Trunk belongs. After the two switches are powered off in sequence, it takes 5 minutes for the peer device to become the master device in the VRRP group. Why five minutes? Can anyone explain? Thank you.

Hi, Qazik.
When two S6700 switches are powered off, an active/standby switchover occurs because the active switch is powered off first. However, the VRRP master/slave switchover has a VRRP smoothing function, which changes the VRRP switchover time to 300s.
