HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi,

when Im using router Huawei-b535-232 and switch on VPN, not all homepage or work related issues are allowed.

Simple, example, when VPN is on I can't open google.com ('The connection has timed out').

When Im using VPN with other internet (hotspot, other wi-fi) everything works fine, so the problem isn't with VPN itself.

Question: Is there any configurations I should make for router settings?.

Thank You and BR,

Agris

Hi,

You should check the ISP connection if ISP allows the VPNs or not. If they don't allow VPN, they'll block the traffic.

It could be a problem of TCP Maximum Segment Size. Try setting a lower MSS on the LAN interface of the router.
For my router, the commands are:
interface Vlan1
ip tcp adjust-mss 1452
(or lower)
HTH
