Hi friends,

in static VPLS we configure L2VPN manually then why use ldp ? & under VSI we configure  pwsignal ldp

  why use this command as in static VPLS.?
for static VPLS LSP is staticlay as in CCC in VPWS ? &  
LDP is used in both  static & LDP VPLS ? then whats the difference b/w static & LDP VPLS?

I'm not sure about what you mean about the static VPLS, and it seems that you forgot the VSI command.
Please help to complete the missing information.

thanks for reply....i know vsi command is must in both cases ,,,,,but my question is we use LDP in both static & LDP VPLS then whats the difference b/w these two?

Thanks @chenhui ...my question is under we use peer x.x.x.x static-upe trans 100 recv 100 command
& with LDP under vsi we use only peer x.x.x.x command. whats the difference b/w these two command is first one is static?

I mean what the static VPLS stands for? As far as I know, I didn't hear about that kind of VPLS.

Hi @LSA
command peer static-upe configures a static UPE peer in an H-VPLS VSI. It's used to assign the UPE peer, while peer x.x.x.x is used to assign the "normal" peer. They are used in different scenarios.
By the way, when talking about the VPLS, we commonly consider the "normal" one.
