This topic describes the solution to VP9039 cannot display presentation.
Issue Description
Codec model and version
Huawei HU-VP9039S Software version: VCT V100R011C03B012SP07 Release 2013.7.9 Hardware Version: B Logic Version: 7.1 MIC_Array Version: M210 V100R001C01B014SP01
Video input "HD IN 2" of a VP9039 is unresponsive. (I use this input as a source for sharing presentations.)
Exchanging complete video cabling didn't resolve the problem. When swapping input connectors between the local camera (normally connected to "HD IN 1") and the presentation source, the presentation is working again, but the local camera is dead.
I assumed, that input on the video terminal (model Huawei HU-VP9039S) is defective or inactive. When trying to select input source for presentation, "no signal" is displayed at HD IN 2, although a notebook with active screen mirroring is connected (tried with different notebooks).
Solution
The solution is as follows:
1. log in to the 9039S through SSH.
Username: debug
Password: debug (default debug credentials)
3. Make sure there is no cable inserted in the video input HD IN 2 (which is suspected as being inactive).
4. Run bsp bspwriteDDC 1 command in order to reactivate the physical video inputs of the codecs
5. After this is displayed the presentation will be working again, the video input HD IN 1 (in this case) was reactivated by CLI.
