ISSUE DESCRIPTION


Can you please tell me how to upgrade my unbranded Huawei B618s-65d?


I've found ion 4gltemall the firmware upgrades for B618s-22d, but I need B618s-65d ones, which are not on that website. External sites 'provide' such firmwares (can't verify if they are authentic), but they published them on websites dedicated for firmware and they've put an 'Exclusive' flag on it, so you must pay in order to obtain such firmwares.


I'm asking you, because my Huawei Support in Italy won't help me, just because my product doesn't come from EU.


Can someone please help me? I need to manage the VoLTE, and I also need the VoIP client.


If not possible, at least please help me to rollback into the official last version, please, because I've made a mistake, updating it with a local file, but made for B618s-22d, so it worked, but doesn't manage the bands properly.

I've already tried this way, but they won't be able to help me, because my 4G Modem/Router comes from China, so it's extra-EU.
They told me to ask my seller, but my seller isn't able to help me.
I've asked for help in several ways...
Recently I've written to China Huawei Support and Singapore Huawei Support.... Still waiting for response. :(
I hope someone has the same problem too, so that could help me...

It's hopeless.... It seems like they don't know what VoLTE is.....

In his B618, which is Telkom-branded, there is this new firmware upgrade, since December 2018.
My B618 is not branded, and I still don't have the upgrade. It says that it's already up to date, but I don't have VoLTE management, and, if I try to force-enable it, by calling the IMS in a new APN, it tells me that I can't do such action, because it's reserved for VoLTE....
So it's confirmed that my B618 HAS VoLTE... BUT WHY I CAN'T MANAGE IT???? IT'S ALWAYS OFF!
I need to call without downgrade in 3G, but I can't, since I can't enable VoLTE!!!
Can someone PLEASE help me?

Have u enable volte from your telco provider? I have this issue previously,at first i thought it was modem issue..then huawei support ask me to check with my telco provider to enable volte..once they enabled it, everything works fine.

Yeah, I've tried... I don't have Telkom in my country, and my modem/router is the no-brand edition.
I've tried with my provider, but the operator said that VoLTE was already enabled for my SIM card...
