What is SBC?

Server-based computing (SBC), an application virtualization solution, runs most processing tasks of applications on a server and transfers images displayed on a screen to a client using a compression algorithm to display them. Users can use an application or some applications.

Applicable scenarios and suggestions

SBC is applied to scenarios with a single software requirement, simple peripheral device requirements, and low personalized requirements. SBC reduces the quantity of servers but provides poor software and hardware compatibilities relative to VDI scenarios, and personalized settings are insufficient. Therefore, you are advised not to apply SBC in complex scenarios.
