Overview
Virtual desktop management is one of administrators' routine work. 1 Virtual Desktop Management
1.1 Service Provisioning
Service provisioning means the provisioning of the virtual desktop service. Based on actual service requirements, administrators follow instructions in the FusionCloud Desktop V100R006C10 Windows Desktop Management Guide to create one or more VMs for users and provision the VMs to users on the O&M management platform of the desktop cloud system. Users can use their VMs after login. For example, an administrator provisions one VM for a new employee.
1.2 Service Adjustment
Service adjustment means the adjustment of the virtual desktop service. Based on actual service requirements, administrators follow instructions in the to change specifications and IP address of VMs used by one or more users and update VM templates on the O&M management platform of the desktop cloud system. For example, a user finds that the CPU or memory of a VM usually exceeds 90%. Therefore, the user wants to apply for more CPUs or memory.
1.3 Service Reclaiming
Service reclaiming means the reclaiming of the virtual desktop service. Based on actual service requirements, administrators follow instructions in the to reclaim VM resources that have been provisioned to users on the O&M management platform of the desktop cloud system. The reclaimed VM resources can be provisioned again. For example, if an employee resigns the position, an administrator needs to delete the employee's VMs and reclaim VM resources.
