Viewing the Node Information

Objective

Verify that you can view the   detailed information about a node on the OceanStor DeviceManager.

Prerequisite

1.             The OceanStor 9000 is running correctly   with its basic configurations completed.

2.             Your O&M PC is communicating with the   OceanStor 9000 smoothly.

Procedure

1.             Start the web browser on your O&M PC. In the address box, type https://x.x.x.x:8088 (replace x.x.x.x with the management IP   address) and press Enter. In the page that is   displayed, enter the default user name admin and   default password Admin@storage. Then click LogIn.

2.             In the upper left corner   of the page that is displayed, click the cabinet-shaped icon. On the   page that is displayed, check the node information displayed in the lower   right part.

3.             Click the link for each node.

Expected   Result

1.             In step 2, you can view node information such as Health Status, Running Status, Service IP Address, Management IP Address, Total Capacity, and Capacity Usage(%).

2.             In step 3, Name, Health, Status, Device Type, and Operational Status information is displayed on   the Basic Node   Information tab page.
