Video conferencing is divided into hardware video conferencing and software video conferencing.
Hardware video conferencing requires specific photographic equipment, codecs, dedicated lines and dedicated meeting rooms to connect several fixed departments. This type of meeting can only be carried out in a fixed number of meeting rooms, with poor flexibility and expandability and often has no way to deal with emergencies. Moreover, the maintenance and maintenance costs of the facilities are high and require special personnel for maintenance, which takes up a large amount of capital and human resources in the enterprise.
The software video conferencing system has lower costs than the hardware video conferencing system, and at the same time overcomes the problem of poor flexibility and scalability of the hardware video conferencing system. However, software video conferencing also has some problems that cannot be ignored: you need to configure the network and server before downloading and installing the client. If an abnormal situation occurs during this process, reinstalling the software is also a cumbersome task.
