Definition
The IVS platform provides video buffering so that cameras store recordings and checkpoint data in SD cards when cameras are disconnected. After the network is recovered, the video or checkpoint data generated during network disconnection is uploaded to the system.

This feature avoids recording and checkpoint data loss in case of network disconnections, improving system reliability and video and image storage continuity.
Application Scenario
When the network is disconnected, cameras cannot be connected to the system, and the media streams and checkpoint data generated by cameras cannot be stored in the system. The video buffering function enables cameras to store video or checkpoint data in SD cards.
