You can check the service QoS configuration by performing S1 signaling tracing tasks and then analyzing whether the traced QoS parameters of the target bearer are correctly configured.
Prerequisites
The eNodeB properly connects to the eLMT. A cell has been set up.
Procedure
Verifying QoS parameter settings of a default bearer Enable the eUE to access the cell. Check whether the QoS parameter settings for a default bearer take effect.
1.Start a message tracing task over the S1 interface on the eNodeB eLMT as follows: In the eLMT main window, click the Trace tab. On the displayed Trace tab page, choose Trace > LTE Services > S1 Interface Trace from Trace Navigation Tree. Then, in the displayed dialog box, create a message tracing task.
2.Enable an eUE to access the cell.
3.Check whether QoS parameter settings of the bearer in the displayed S1AP_INITIAL_CONTEXT_SETUP_REQ message are consistent with the QoS parameter settings of the eUE. The QoS parameter settings take effect only when the settings are consistent.
Verifying QoS parameter settings of a dedicated bearer
Verify QoS parameter settings of a dedicated bearer as follows:
1.Start a message tracing task over the S1 interface on the eNodeB eLMT as follows: In the eLMT main window, click the Trace tab. On the displayed Trace tab page, choose Trace > LTE Services > S1 Interface Trace from Trace Navigation Tree. Then, in the displayed dialog box, create a message tracing task.
2.Enable an eUE to access the cell and set up a dedicated bearer.
3.Check whether QoS parameter settings of the bearer in the displayed S1AP_INITIAL_CONTEXT_SETUP_REQ message are consistent with the QoS parameter settings of a dedicated bearer. The QoS parameter settings take effect only when the settings are consistent.
