This topic describes how to deal with the problem that cannot log in to the IVS Client and OMU portal.
Issue Description
VCN500 Version: V100R002C50SPC200
The user was not able to log into the OMU Portal and not able to execute any command to restore the password.
Status: 333

Not able to log in OMU Portal
Error Message: Login failed. The possible cause is that the connection to the OMU fails.

Not able to recover the Password of OMU. Command line is working fine for the same version of VCN500 in another unit.

Try to startup the Service but it is not working and show some file corrupted.

Handling Process
Before the operation of reinstalling the OS start,
Inform Customer where all the Recording Data will be Lost
Devices will lose and need to be Re-Add
Make sure the VCN500 HDD LED Light all is in Green Color and Working Fine.
Process During Installation
SSH into the VCN500 Server
Log in as root user: su - root
Check the Service of OMU if it is Started.
ps -ef | grep ivs_omu

Check the Drive Status
df -h

Go to share Directory.
cd /share/
Type the command line to get the Network Card IP address
ifconfig
Write down the IP address of the Network Card IP address.

Type: route
Write down the Gateway IP Address.

Type : ./install.sh Network Card IP address Gateway IP Address

The Installation will take around 20-40 Minutes.
After the installation is successful, the System will Auto-Reboot.
The users can log in to the OMU Portal and IVS Client to change the default password: Change_Me.

Log into OMU Portal Page successful and check the HDD Status.

Root Cause
Improper Shutdown of the VCN500 Server several times and causes the System file to corrupt.
Solution
Reinstall the OS.
./install.sh Network Card IP address Gateway IP Address
