VCN500 - Is there licencing for Cameras

I have inheritied managment of a VCN500 unit that currently has 5 camera's configured


i have been tasked to manage the expansion of this system, the client already has additional Huawei cameras but I wanted to know are their any licencne requirment for additional cameras 


Additionaly can we easily add additional disk's to expandt the storage, there is 3 4TB SATA disk's installed in a RAID 5

Please, check whether the camera to be added belongs to the local domain or external domain.

  • If the new camera belongs to the local domain, no license is required.

  • If the new camera belongs to the external domain, you need to apply for a license.

Thanks for that, the cameras are new and haven't been installed yet so will be the local domain

One follow up question, it looks like the system support 32 camera's based on the documentation, is that correct.

Yes. The VCN500 supports access to 32 cameras.
