Hi, dear!
In the video observation system, unexpected conditions may occur in the equipment room, such as power failure and network fault. In this case, PUs will be disconnected from the platform. Then, users cannot view live video or record video, resulting in potential risks.

Through DR configuration, the VCN supports the production and DR domains. When the production domain is faulty, users can switch services from the production domain to the DR domain.

After DR is configured for the VCN, when an exception occurs on a production domain, users can migrate cameras in the domain to the DR domain.
After cameras are migrated, the live video viewing and video recording services are normal.
After the production domain is recovered, users can migrate the cameras back to the original production domain.
Configuration process
Configuring the DR domain in the production domain
Add the DR domain for the production domain, set DR parameters for the local domain as the production domain, and allocate the DR domain for devices in the production domain.
Configuring the production domain in the DR domain
Add the production domain for the DR domain and set DR parameters for the local domain as the DR domain.
Enabling the DR function
Enable DR configuration in the DR domain and synchronize data from the production domain.
Performing DR switchover
When the production domain is faulty, migrate cameras to the DR domain.
After the production domain is recovered, migrate the cameras from the DR domain to the production domain.
