VCN 500 Node

We have 2 Huawei VCN 500 Nodes in Active/Slave cluster, now i would like to break the relationship and use two devices independently  , what will be the impact of this separations.

 

Both Active and Slave unit have IP cameras registered to it

 

After breaking relationship what will happen to my recordings?

How to beak this relationship?

Hi, the following is dismiss a stack.

Dismissing a stack

To dismiss a stack, you only need to change Deployment mode of all servers to Single-node and save the settings. You need to set all slave servers before the master server. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Log in to the OMU Portal of the server as the Admin user (The default password is Change_Me.) 

  2. Choose Local Configuration > Basic Configuration, Click Edit, and change the value of Deployment mode to Single-node.

After disbanding, new recordings are not affected, and historical recordings may be discontinuous.

As you know we have IP cameras connecting to Active NVR and some cameras connecting to Slave NVR. After i dismiss stack and register IP cameras to different node does i lose recording of that IP camera. If not how can I playback recordings of that IP camera.

Videos will not be lost.

Are you talking about the recording from those cameras?

yes , complete recordings for those cameras which iam disconnecting or is there any way to clone all HDD from NVR

If your camcorder has an SD card, it can be found on the camcorder.
