VCN 500 Backup

Hello!

You can directly download the video to the local host for backup. You can also set local recording parameters so that the system directly saves the video to the local host.

Download the recording:

1. In the Service Operation panel on the left of the Workspace tab page, double-click Videos.

2. Click the Video Download tab.
   

3. Set video download parameters. 

   1. In the Cameras panel, select the camera.
      

   2. In the Video Search panel, set search criteria and click Search. 

      NOTE: 
      

      When you search for recordings of another camera, the previous search result will not be automatically cleared. In this case, recordings displayed in the Search Result area may be more than recordings that are actually searched out. To display recordings that are actually searched out, click Clear in the upper right corner to clear the previous search result.

   3. In the Search Result area, drag the timeline to select a time segment, and click Download.
      

   4. Select a path to store the downloaded video and click OK. 

      The download progress is displayed in the Downloads area. 

Configure the local recording parameter

1. In the Service Operation panel on the left of the Workspace tab page, double-click Videos. The Video tab page is displayed.

2. Click the Local Recording Parameters tab. 

3. Set local recording parameters. 

   

   

4. Click Save.
