Hi hope below information can help u:

Multicast technologies develop with unicast technologies. To provision a multicast service on an existing MPLS/BGP VPN, a Rosen multicast VPN (MVPN) technology was introduced. With Rosen MVPN, the public network PIM instance does not know the multicast data transmitted on VPNs, VPN PIM instances do not know the multicast routing information in the public network instance, and VPN PIM instances are isolated from each other, ensuring multicast service privacy.
