Using eNSP images in EVE-NG

Hello,

Our customer tried to download the eNSP from Huawei website, but the page said no software was found. Instead, he tried to simulate Huawei devices in EVE-NG. I would like to know if it's possible to simulate Huawei routes in EVE-NG? Have you guys ever tried this?

Please I do really need your suggestions.

Good news update on 9/18 2020. More eNSP images could be used in the EVE-NG. A forum user posted the thread to import the eNSP image into the EVE-NG. Not only the USG firewall and AR1000V, but also the CE12800, NE40E, NE5000 and CX600. 

You can check the postRun CE12800/NE40E in EVE-NG


Well, actually, eNSP images cannot be used in EVE-NG, except the USG6000V and AR1000V.

To enable the AR1000V in EVE-NG, you can follow the steps below,

  1. SSH to EVE and login as root, from cli and create image directory:mkdir opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/huaweiar1k-5.170

  2. Upload the  var_allinone.img image to the EVE /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/huaweiar1k-5.170/ using, for example, FileZilla or WinSCP.

  3. From cli go to created directory: cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/huaweiar1k-5.170/

  4. Rename source original filename to virtioa.qcow2: mv var_allinone.img hda.qcow2

  5. Fix permissions /opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

 

For USG6000V, please check steps below:

  1. Open or unzip USG6000v-hda.7z file to obtain USG6000v-hda.qcow2 source file.

  2. SSH to EVE and login as root, from cli and create image directory: mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/huaweiusg6kv-5.1.6

  3. Upload the  USG6000v-hda.qcow2 image to the EVE /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/huaweiusg6kv-5.1.6/ using, for example, FileZilla or WinSCP.

  4. From cli go to created directory: cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/huaweiusg6kv-5.1.6/

  5. Rename source original filename to hda.qcow2: mv USG6000v-hda.qcow2 hda.qcow2

  6. Fix permissions /opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

As far as I know, there is no plan to do that.

It seems the image should be bought on the website, maybe, you can consult the pre-sale engineers.

As far as I know, EVE-NG is a third simulator, all the images are porting by the third parties.

Bom dia, observei preciso simular algum modelo de Huawei no EVE-NG. Observei aqui que vocês conseguem rodar o AR1000V, porém não sei onde posso baixar a imagem var_allinone.img, conforme descrito no passo 02.
2. Carregue a imagem var_allinone.img no EVE /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/huaweiar1k-5.170/

Onde encontro a var_allinone.img para download ?
