  Rewarded HiCoins: 1 (problem resolved)

Hello, I have an AR502 perfectly working. Now, I need to travel abroad with the device. Therefore, the SIM card will connect abroad to LTE through roaming.

Does the AR502 work as it is or maybe there is some option to enable LTE roaming?

Unfortunately, in the network language, "roaming" also refers to a device connecting from a router to another, which is very confusing and I could not find anything appropriate in the manuals.

Thank you

Hi,
That is not determined by the device. The AR router is just a receiver, you should confirm with your LTE provider whether your SIM card supports the roaming.
Besides, you should beware of the LTE bands that your destination support. For AR502H, it supports LTE FDD band 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 20. DO NOT bring it to the country in which the supported bands are not listed., else, you are just waste your time.

It does not depend of the router, if the mobile service provider that you have in the router has roaming aggreements in the country where you are going, the router has to work with problem.

Hi itreb,
In my opinion, the AR router connects to the carrier's LTE network through a SIM card. Therefore, the AR router determines whether the SIM determines roaming. If you travel abroad, you should go to the carrier to enable the SIM roaming service.
