Hello,

I need assistance with the following: we have a firewall USG6320, there is internal network 10.0.0.0/24 with a DHCP server on it. The internal interface has an IP address of 10.0.0.1/24 (it is connected to an access switch), which is the gateway address for the users. The port is a L3 port with routing enabled.

On the firewall there is only one free port left, I need to use this port, because of the Gigabit interface to temporary connect a server. How I can setup that port, so the server to be able to communicate with the internal network 10.0.0.0/24 and to has an access to Internet?

I've created a new virtual system and assigned that free port to the trust zone. I gave that port an IP address, created a Security policy and a NAT. I am able to ping the interface address (10.0.0.66) from the server and vice versa, but only this.

Here is the topology:

Is there an option without making the ports L2? How can I achieve this target?

Thank you in advance!

Hi IvoK,
Can you upload your topology?
Or you can refer to Example for Configuring Easy IP for Intranet Users to Access the Internet

Currently, your server and PC can communicate with each other. Then, you want both the PC and the server to be able to access the internet, right? Any other questions?

On the shown topology, to the internal switch are connected devices which can communicate with each other and have access to the Internet. I need to connect a server directly to the firewall (the only free port available), which should be able to access the internal network and internet (this is not drawn on the topology).
