USG550 firewall simulation always forgets IPv6 configuration

This post refers to the issue that the USG550 firewall simulation always forgets IPv6 configuration. Please see below for more details.

The situation is as follows:

  • create USG5500 on the network topology map;

  • configure ipv6 in system view;

  • enable ipv6 in interface view;

  • configure ipv6 address in interface view;

  • run 'display this', 'display current-configuration interface', etc.;

  • doing the same on another USG5500;

  • pinging the interfaces' ipv6 addresses is successful;

  • saving the configuration on both USG5500's;

  • starting the USG5500s again;

  • all IPv6 configuration is lost.
