Dear friend!

You need to run the user-bridging command to configure VLAN.

This command is used to enable or disable the Layer 2 intercommunication of the VLAN service profile. After Layer 2 intercommunication is enabled and two users of the same MA5821/MA5822 need to communicate with each other at Layer 2, the packets between the two users do not need to be sent to the upper-layer gateway and then forwarded by the gateway at Layer 3; the two users can communicate with each other directly at Layer 2. By default, Layer 2 intercommunication is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

1. In the global config mode, run the vlan service-profile command to enter the VLAN service profile mode.

2. You need to run the commit(vlan) command to make the configuration take effect after Layer 2 intercommunication is enabled.

3. Layer 2 intercommunication and SVLAN or CVLAN forwarding are mutually exclusive. You can run the forwarding command to set the forwarding mode of the VLAN.

4. When both the board that supports Layer 2 intercommunication and the board that does not support Layer 2 intercommunication are added to the VLAN that supports Layer 2 intercommunication, Layer 2 intercommunication between all boards in this VLAN is supported.

Example

Assume that VLAN 10 functions as the service VLAN of the enterprise private line service. To enable Layer 2 intercommunication on the MA5821/MA5822 for users in VLAN 10, do as follows:

1

The system does not display any message after the command is executed successfully.

I have multiple ONU in my GPON network, Should I run this command on all ONU's while all ONU's Connected with OLT.
and VLAN also created on OLT & MDU's Both.
What if same vlan users on Different ONU's connected with common OLT, want to communicate with each other.

You can use the undo isolate command.
The undo isolate command is used to cancel the isolation of an upstream or user Ethernet port.
