What is the NE model?
What did you do when an NE was converted to a GNE? Is the operation performed only on the NMS? Is the physical connection of the network cable modified?
Is the master subrack (subrack 0) of an NE an optical-layer subrack or an electrical-layer subrack?
Is the NMS connected to the master subrack or to the slave subrack?

For the GND and master/slave subracks, pay attention to the following points:

1. The NM_ETH port on the master subrack must be connected to the NMS.

2. If an NE has both optical-layer and electrical-layer subracks, use the electrical-layer subrack as the master subrack.

3. If there is no router between the NMS and the NE, the IP address of the GNE must be in the same network segment as the IP address of the NMS and do not conflict with the IP address of other GNEs.
