Hi friend.

This is because 100G services use coherent reception technology.
The coherent reception technology uses the same frequency local oscillator laser to coherently receive optical signals and recovers the amplitude, phase, and polarization state information from the received signals. At the same time, coherent systems use high-speed analog-to-digital conversion ADC and digital signal processing DSP technologies to compensate for dispersion and PMD in the line. Therefore, the coherent reception technology is used to improve the CD, PMD, and OSNR tolerances and improve the system transmission capability. Dispersion compensation DCM and tunable TDCM are not required.

@ dispersion tolerance of 10G Color optical module is 800 ps/nm . so considering G652d fiber , we need DCM to transmit signal more than 40 km.
