Hi all,


I have a UPS2000-G-10KRTL. I turned the UPS on, it worked normally, but when I was trying to switch it off, I got the fault number 0158 (photo).

What does this fault mean? How can I shut down UPS in this case?

Shutting down

Invertor shutted down. Shutdown command cannot be executed.

Hello, Eugene_1.
After viewing the photos, the indicator light shows that your UPS is not turned on and is operating in bypass mode. After the UPS is connected to the power, press and hold the start button 3-5S to start the UPS.
The following is the information about the alert for your reference.

0158-1 On bypass Alarm

Attribute

Alarm IDAlarm SeverityAlarm Type

0158-1

Minor

Environmental alarm

Impact on the System

If the bypass is abnormal, the UPS may power off.

Possible Causes

  • The inverter is not started.

  • The load power exceeds the rated inverter loading capability.

  • The inverter is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether other alarms are raised. If other alarms are raised, clear them.

  2. If no alarm is raised, start the UPS manually.

But I mean that: 1) I turn UPS on 2) UPS works without  any problems in normal mode 3) when I'm trying to shut down UPS according to User manual 5.2.2 Shutting down the UPS 4) After 'Step 2' (according to User manual 5.2.2, page 77) I see fault 0158

Hi, Eugene_1.
The UPS cannot be turned off to no output state. After the inverter is turned off, it will automatically go to the bypass. In the bypass state, it can no longer be turned off.
