Uplink port ThresholdPercent higher than 50%

Hi, everybody!


This post enquires about the issue of an uplink port ThresholdPercent higher than 50%. Please see more details below.


ISSUE DESCRIPTION


My uplink port is suddenly down and if Iremove and reconnect the fiber path cable, the port is coming back up If I check the log, ThresholdPercent is showing to be higher than 50%.

Please help me solve this uplink port ThresholdPercent higher than 50% issue.

Jun  9 2018 12:30:58 Hub %IFPDT/4/IF_STATE(l)[5]:Interface XGigabitEthernet0/0/3 has turned into DOWN state.

Hey there!

There might be a temporary burst of traffic before the traffic converges. 


It could be a normal behavior - it depends on your network characteristics. 

Are there any other logs captured? I'm wondering why the interface goes down :)

we doubt there is a loop in your network, could you check the switch if there was mac-address flapping?
