Upgrade the SUN2000 inverter, export log files and set the grid code with SUN2000APP

Upgrade the SUN2000 inverter

1)Login with SUN2000APP as Advanced User

Open the SUN2000APP, choose connection mode to Bluetooth connection and login as Advanced User with the default password 00000a

2)Start to update the inverter

From the main page choose Inverter updateSearchGlobal searchthe package will be added automatically and you can selectUpdateStarting updatinginverter will start automatically the updateOK and the inverter will automatically restart.

After the update is successfully connect with SUN2000APP and check the inverter status at Running Info.

Export Log Files

Login as advanced user on SUN2000APP

Insert the Bluetooth device in the USB port of the inverter, enable the Bluetooth on your phone and connect like below on SUN2000APP as advanced user with the default password “00000a”.

Export logs file from inverter

From the main page select “Device logs” than “Inverter Log”. From the menu “Log Download” choose “Select All”, set the time range to latest month and tap “Download File”. Wait until all the file are downloaded (5 min).

Send the log file to service team

After all the file are downloaded you can choose “Send email” to send the logs file using your email address to service team at the email: eu_inverter_support@huawei.com.

If you can’t send email from your phone than select “OK” and the logs file will be saved in your phone. You can find the logs in: application-my file-internal storage-inverterapp-sun2000app_download-sun2000 and you can save in your laptop and send on email to service team to: eu_inverter_support@huawei.com

Set The Grid Code

Login as advanced user on SUN2000APP

Insert the Bluetooth device in the USB port of the inverter, enable the Bluetooth on your phone and connect like below on SUN2000APP as advanced user with the default password “00000a”.

Select The settings section and select the grid parameters and then select the grid code according to your country's grid.
