Problem on a live network
Symptom
In previous versions, the following functions are not provided for a single linked clone by using a template:
l Update or restore forcibly
l Update and restore at next startup
l Rollback

Only the group that meets the following conditions can be updated or restored:
l The group contains linked clones.
l All the VMs in this group are available.
Solution
The patch is provided to solve the problem.

Procedure
Step 1 Provision multiple linked clones.
Step 2 Set the time for enabling the update or restore policy to 1, 5, 10, or 15 minutes later with notifying users by short messages.
Step 3 Set the time for enabling the update or restore policy to next startup with notifying users by short messages.
Expected Result Before Patch Installation
A single linked clone cannot be updated or restored forcibly, updated or restored at next startup, and rollback
Expected Result After Patch Installation
l The update and restore can be postponed for 1, 5, 10, or 15 minutes, and users will be informed.
l The update and restore can be performed at next startup, and users will be informed.
