Hello, team!

I have a question.

For the past 5 months, I haven't been able to search or detect my 5G network wifi regardless of the device I'm using - phones/PC/Laptop.

My device GUI shows 5G network is Enabled and Broadcast is ON.

I'm using the EchoLife HG8245Q2 GPON Terminal.

My ISP couldn't help so I'm trying my luck here.

Hello, friend!


To configure 5 GHz Wi-Fi for the HG8245Q2, perform the following steps: 


First, use the administrator account and password to log in to the ONT web page.


Click the WLAN tab, and choose 5G Advanced Network Settings from the navigation tree on the left. In the right pane, configure the advanced parameters of the 5G Wi-Fi network.

If a terminal device needs to search for a 5G network, the ISP needs to deploy communications devices such as antennas of the 5G network in the area.

The preceding configuration applies only to the ONT radio channel change.
