Short Description:

This Challenge is organized by Huawei International Pte. Ltd. (“Organizer / Huawei /We”). We are launching a 3^rd challenge, a continuous 5 weeks quiz competition with different questions every week. The aims of this challenge are to expand the circle of developers in learning AI and spark idea on product creation and development with the help of Huawei Ascend AI technology.

In this challenge, new post consists of questions will be posted on this forum every week and every participant is granted an entry per week. Hence, every participants are entitled to a total of 5 entries for the whole challenge. The winners of that particular week will be announced on the consecutive week by posting on the forum https://forum.huawei.com/enterprise/en/forum-100504.html and awards shall be delivered after the end of this challenge 3.

Rewards:

20 pieces of 40 USD worth E-Gift Voucher for each week during this challenge. Hence, a total of 100 pieces of 40 USD worth E-Gift Voucher will be distributed throughout this challenge 3 (week 1 to week 5). 40 USD will be converted to countries’ currency when delivered. The type of E-Gift voucher for respective country are shown below:

Terms and Regulations:

One participant is entitled to only one entry per week.
Participant will automatically ineligible and disqualified if:
1. he/she is Huawei employee;
2. multiple entry is detected for a particular week; or
3. submitted answers after the challenge deadline
Due to answer privacy concern, all the replies are only visible to the author of this post.
Only the participant with all correct answer is entitled to participate in the challenge session of idea/feedback reviewed.
After the panel of judges reviewed all the comments objectively, the 20 participants who provided outstanding feedback will receive a prize. By giving helpful feedback yourself, you become better at evaluating ideas and help us to grow. So, you do not only become a better communicator, but a better creator yourself.
The panel of judges are 3-5 people and they reviewed separately, the first 20 participants get the highest mark will be the winners.
Winners will be informed through forum site chat feature after the challenge, located on the top right after logged in, as shown in the image below.
If there is no reply from winner(s) within 2 weeks, the winner(s) will be disqualified for the prize.
Organizer shall not hold any responsibility for false country information given, misuse or damaged or lose of E-Gift voucher.
E-Gift voucher is non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
The E-Gift voucher allows the holder/bearer to redeem goods at the said dedicated website. However, it cannot be exchanged for cash or any other forms of legal tender.
During the redemption of goods, if the value of the goods exceeds the amount stated in the E-Gift voucher, the difference thereof should be paid by the bearer. However, if the value of the goods is less than the amount stated in the e-voucher, then the difference thereof shall not be refunded to the bearer.
E-Gift voucher is valid up to the stipulated expiry date and no extension of date shall be given.
E-Gift voucher is not refundable and cannot be exchanged with vouchers of other denominations.
E-Gift voucher is converted to the respective country’s currency based on the currency exchange rate on purchased day.
Damaged/Missing E-Gift vouchers will be considered as invalid vouchers and will not be replaced.
Huawei Asia Pacific Computing Division has the right to interpret the event.
Participant is deemed to have read and agreed to the above regulations once participate.
The contestants agree and provide consent to the organizer for the use of personal data as provided by the contestant for the purpose of participation in this challenge in line with the applicable personal data protections laws, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by the organizer for lawful purpose directly related to the running of this challenge.
The winners shall not substitute the prize won or exchange the said cash voucher for money. Organizer reserves all rights in its sole discretion to substitute the prize (or prize component, if applicable) with one of equal or greater value.
The organizer’s decisions are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
Huawei assumes no responsibility for late entries due to any reasons including, but not limited to, network transmission failure.
Huawei shall not be responsible for any loss or damage directly or indirectly incurred by any party including the contestants in connection or arising from acts or omissions or in any way related to this challenge.
The contestants agree to discharge and release Huawei from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this contest.
The contestants further agree to discharge and release any third party which is related to and connected with this challenge, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this challenge.
Without prejudice to the foregoing:- (i) save where otherwise prohibited by law, in no event shall the organizer be liable to any party including the Contestants for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental or punitive damages, including lost profits, howsoever remote even if such losses were foreseeable or if Huawei were advised of the possibility of such damages.
