Good morning
I ask tour help because I have to unlock my router I had with Wind in order ti use it with Tim.
I have done a contract with TIM and I would like to use the router I had with WIND but when I enter in to the router the WAN section is not editabile. Ivan inserti TIM parameters.
Could tour help me to unlock the wind router?
The router is ECHOLIFE HG8245Q

Based on your description, I'm not quite sure what you mean by unlocking the HG8245Q.


If the WAN cannot be configured after logging in to the device's WebUI, the possible cause is that the account for logging in to the device WebUI is insufficient. 


To perform configuration operations, you need device administrator rights.


It is confirmed that the HG8245Q is a carrier's device model. We do not have permission to obtain ISP customization information. Please contact the local ISP to obtain the corresponding solution.


If I understand it incorrectly, please provide screenshots of the problem and the version of the device.

On a home network, the device can go online and access the network only after the device registers its physical information with the ISP.
You need to check with the ISP to see if the device model is allowed to access the network.

As far as I know, the ONT is authenticated on the ISP side, and they only allow the ONTs that the ISP released.

Hi when I try tO configure with TIM parameters I can't do it because the WAN section is not avaible.
I go in to the modem with user name e password after i have linked the pc to the router with yellow cable. In this moment I can't do anything. So I said unlocked. Maybe there is some lock because the router is WIND. You canta help me? What is local ISP?

This is not a lock on the device.
The only reason is that your account for logging in to the device WebUI is insufficient.
As stated above:
