Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding [URPF] default route

Hi

We are using multiple NE9000 serie routers in our Core network. I want to ask you that, is it possible to configured / used to perform Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding (uRPF)? as a default route 0.0.0.0/0

Hi @sachandio!


After URPF is enabled, packets matching the default route can be forwarded.


For example, enable a strict URPF check on GE 1/0/0 and enable the default route:


<HUAWEI> system-view
[-HUAWEI] interface GigabitEthernet 1/0/0
[*HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet1/0/0] ip urpf strict allow-default
